LPI Presented 2 papers at ILPS 2018

LPI presented two papers at the recent ILPS 2018 conference in Shenzhen, China, namely (i) “Influence of corona around lightning rods on strike probability as assessed in a HV laboratory” and (ii) “Improved Stochastic 3D Downward Leader Model for Application in Lightning Protection”. The research for these papers was done in collaboration with well-known international researchers in lightning protection. The papers were presented by Dr Franco D'Alessandro, Chief Technology Officer of LPI. He is also on the Scientific Advisory Committee of the conference, which is held every 2 years.
